you know what, for acie's b-day party we should deep-fry everything and put the state fair of texas to SHAME. fried turkey, fried ham, fried okra, fried cookie dough, fried pudding, fried ribs, fried cheese, fried birthday cake, fried whole potatoes, fried pancakes, fried...other things.
Breakfast - Rockstar Pomegrante Juice.
Lunch - Homemade Gumbo, recipie straight out of the bayou in Louisiana 9/10 only because I did'nt have any garlic toast.
Dinner -TBD. Strange urge for egg foo young today tho.
I don't like Moes that much.. and I hate Baja Fresh... Chipotle is wonderful... they have this "spice" or flavored meat that is wonderful,
Plus it's all natural (which is a plus) and their guacamole is one of the best... I <3 Chipotle
I will have to investigate Chipotle tomorrow, thanks Karen , oh yes it's quite lovely. I am definitely a soup person. If you're in New York again you should definitely stop by, soup would be had.
of course the fried ribs are disgustingly greasy, as would be all the other fried things i mentioned. but if we're going to out-do the state fair, it must be done that way
I love soups and stews as well!
In fact, I like to say it may be the perfect lunch... soup and a salad or soup and some bread makes a perfect lunch IMO.
