The Unstoppable LUNCH Thread!

Oooh I love dates. I want some now. I love freezing bananas when they're really ripe and then hacking up a coconut and using the water/milk and some meat putting it in a blender with the bananas and it's a tasty smoothie type of thing, it's so good. I am going to pop some bananas in the freezer right now haha.
 
^ Jennifer: the dates are especially great frozen if they are in the fresh-state not the dried...
In Israel there are like a bazillion palm trees with dates that grow wild, so people just collect them fresh
but here I think you can find them in Whole Foods or maybe Trader Joes in the fresh state and in season: those are the BEST to freeze!

went out and had a bleu cheese burger at Black-eyed Pea restaurant

major fail/10

ordered: medium, received: medium well
asked for mayo and had it smothered in a mountain of mayo
side of onion rings SO GREASY HOLY CRAP

but they have such delicious cornbread and honey


edit: Meant to say it was actually cooked WELL DONE! GROSS
 
Late lunch/dinner - went to a pub and ordered:

Battered Haggis with Glenmorangie sauce, a side of salad and an Irn Bru.

Medium-done Sirloin steak, onion rings, mushrooms, side of some chips, another Irn Bru.

Finished with a Jameson Liqueur Coffee. It was pretty good but I had to add sugar.

Overall 9.5/10

No pics cos I'm terrible.
 
ingredients for a most om nom nom salad. i think i could eat a bowl of just walnuts and gorgonzola cheese.
