there's a simple trick 
you must "prepare" yourself for the hit by "holding" the glove (keeping your finger on the left mousekey) and then as fast as you can hit the monkey

Not only do you have an awful desktop/window color scheme, but your video card settings (and possibly the card itself) suck sweaty donkey balls.
Even that damn monkey can do better than 16 colors.
