Up until the last year or so, or really since they announced their retirement I've never even heard these idiots talk about Kerry's missus. Now she releases a few tweets about a band the commentors seemingly hate and she's a whore. It's such a strange world.

It's possible. I don't often read comments so I don't feel the urge to comment and tell people they are idiots. But I've had a personal FB account since about 2003 and a business one since about 2012, I don't look at both often but I think I've made about 5 comments in all that time and they were only on family pages.

I loved the comment in response to "the King's bought a house" and how they changed it to Kerry buying the house and his missus reaping the benefits (or however it was worded). Shit that's pretty much what marriage is, even if both parties are contributing the same they buy things together. Clueless doesn't even go far enough to explain some of these idiots.

It is restraint to a big degree but it's also laziness. I just can't be bothered getting involved with people. I still private chat with a friend I used to work with in the 90's but other than that I don't even talk to family much, in fact my bloody nieces have even unfriended me. I used to chat with a few guys from another forum but they turned to make everything about politics and arguing and I just got sick of them so I stopped talking. So now days I follow a whole bunch of bands, the kids schools and I comment on nothing because I don't really have anything to say and even if I did have a question for a band they rarely answer things, but every other user does!

Unfriended by your nieces? That's harsh lol! Was it because of their taste in music?
I don't think I'd comment much, for the same reasons. It just seems like a never ending headache of trying to keep up with everyone. Hell. I can just keep up here!

It's a fairly sensible line of thought. There is always some mine and yours but how bad would it be if you were married and she owned half the house and you owned the other half. How do you even decide which is that half you want? :)

It probably had to do with their shitty taste and not being able to take a joke. Then again it could just be because they are young and stupid and think I don't know they've unfriended me.

The problem I have with commenting on FB is that unless it's a private chat (or group), you are having your discussion with everyone else that follows that thing you comment on. You might not think you're having the discussion with them all, but they certainly think you are and will quickly jump in to the discussion just for the sake of it.
