Yeah I read this and then saw the Dirk thing lol. Man he does make this album sound like it's going to be good huh?

I don't blame him for talking it up, and he obviously knows more about the songs written than we do. But I just hope his self praise is warranted, they really need a killer album.

Hey, the dude got on TV, that's fair effort for a struggling metal band!

I agree with the comments about not wanting to know. My situation obviously wasn't as serious but when I came out of surgery for my shoulder and I had holes front and back where they'd gone in I stupidly asked how did they do both sides. When the surgeon told me that had me sitting up while they did the work I thought 'nah fuck that I went in laying down I came out lying down', but then the thought was, 'WTF, if you moved me like that I don't want to know what the hell else you did!'.

I reckon Kyle and Phil have been playing the media for years. Their stories keep changing, but they are friends so I reckon it's a game for them. I do prefer Exhorder, partly because I've been listening to them for longer. But Cowboys was definitely a positive change for Pantera and it would have been really interesting to see how Exhorder would have evolved if they kept going.

Why did Exhorder stop anyway? The singer and guitarist just can't get along?

Why did Exhorder stop anyway? The singer and guitarist just can't get along?

In '94 they spilt up, no definitive reasons other than there was talk recently that when Vinnie left it was partly because of old scars opening up. One article I read suggested the Vinnie and Kyle couldn't get along and had different ideas which dated back to the first break up but neither really confirmed that.
