The what's going on in Thrash thread

I don't think they are helping in writing, at least that's always the way it's been. They are probably just figuring out their parts. I think the solos need a lot more work this time around. And ditch that same sound he always uses. It sounds compressed.

At least it doesn't sound like Basket Case. As much as any band can write and record separately I think isolation makes it harder when a band has one really dominate writer.

Yeah so true. That Bronx Casket was a big disappointment. I'm not sure what made it so bad. The music or the vocals.

I think he did one too many albums. None of them were brilliant but the last one ruined the mediocre run.

And time for something a little heart warming. It's old footage from some US festival last year. I believe the band on stage at the time was Killswitch Engage, but that's not important. Here's a kid being taught how to take the pit. It's a pity so many fuckwits are in pits these days, but good on these guys for looking out for the kid and showing her what to do.

I don't know much about SF, but according to wiki since he joined the band all the music and lyrics were credited to the entire band expect for one album where the lyrics were written by one of the other members.

They have some killer energy in their live stuff and not all of it is doom/stoner. They get some speed into some of their riffs as well.

What a bummer, these gals had a good run of three albums. Hopeful Prika can keep the band moving forward and the other two go on to something equally as good.

Damn that's a hell of a commitment. Razor had a couple of brilliant thrash albums, some of the best from the time, but buying 10 tapes is a not something I could see myself doing.

Haha, she looks like she's having a blast although I don't think a real pit is a good place for a kid that age or size.

Yeah you do have to wonder what a kid that age is doing at a show without parents, I think she's lucky those in the pit were there because I've seen some outright pricks in the pit in my time and you're right it's not the place for kids when that happens.
