I don't think Nick's book started any fights or major controversies or Dave would have spoken up by now, but that doesn't mean Dave agrees with everything that's in there. Both Dave's have a terrible habit of not letting other people tell the 'truth'. The biggest problem with any of this stuff is that we know the guys were mostly if not completely trashed throughout most of the time so any of it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

I believe the 'reunion' which didn't eventuate before Dystopia was documented too, but I think it was documented by either Nick or Marty. It would be interested to see what's on film for that time, especially if it was Nick given that he was part of the reunion phase longer than Marty was.

Yeah I'm curious about how close Marty actually was because he always says he's not interested. He was pretty clear about that after it all fell apart and Nick died. But maybe he was closer than we know while Nick was still alive.

Yeah I'm curious about how close Marty actually was because he always says he's not interested. He was pretty clear about that after it all fell apart and Nick died. But maybe he was closer than we know while Nick was still alive.

As much as Nick was happy post Megadeth and he spoke highly of Ohm I think Marty found a different kind of happiness in Japan. It just seems that Marty really settled well doing what he wanted and rejoining Megadeth was always going to be secondary to everything else

I agree. For a while it seemed like the done thing was to add strings but someone forgot to tell him. Even guitarist did the same for a while and I see now Vai (or was it Joe Sat) is releasing an album for the 8 string guitar.
I remember in one clip years ago Sodom used a 2 string bass. I wonder who will be first to go to 1
