This little clip posted two weeks ago of Alex doing Return To Serenity has 102 thousand views. Far exceeding anything else from him. Especially in that time frame. Even Testament sometimes doesn't get those numbers so quick. So my question is......
HOW CAN THEY COTINUE TO IGNORE THIS SONG LIVE?!
I couldn't help watching it again lol.

Does the guy who writes his name on his guitar have more followers than the band?
Have you checked Blabber to see how many comments the news article telling him he's a C leaguer who got the fourth and eight chords wrong got?

It's interesting to see what gets views these days and what doesn't. Even if half of the 100K viewers were repeats, which they probably aren't, it shows that there is an audience that wants to see these types of things. It takes little effort on behalf of the muso to make the video, it costs them nothing to put up there and when sites like Blabber, BW and MI to name a few link to the video, which for the right people is guaranteed in these times, it's advertising money can't buy.

As good as this is I think even Testament and Alex have dropped the ball lately, but the fact they have something out there attracting 100k views is better than plenty of other bands.

I read what BW has but I still need to read the entire thing. Funny what he says about not thinking of Slayer has a big band.

Yeah I suppose it could be one of those things your own mind does to protect itself. If he doesn't think the band is huge it's less pressure, if he doesn't think the band is huge he doesn't have anything to live up to. I have no idea if that's completely true for him but considering how many people crack under pressure it might well have been his coping mechanism.

Oh shit I thought I posted the full article, not the BW link, oh well it was early in the morning...well it was morning.
