The what's going on in Thrash thread

I don't get why they don't. It was out as the whole thing to watch when they did this.

I did go and have a brief look for it yesterday when I posted that message but I couldn't find it and ended up down a rabbit hole of Adam Savage building weird shit while in isolation. Dave lost out to a guy in a shed building stuff for no real reason :)

I didn't mind Thom's Mustaine impersonation but why does he have to be used for almost everything?

Aaaahhh so that's the problem, it wasn't Thom trying to do Rob that bugged me, it was Thom doing Dave trying to be Rob!

 I miss the old robot wars from the 90's.

The guy has been flat out during isolation, he's made about 100 videos of 30 mins or more where he just builds something. He made this huge nut and bolt out of a slab of brass, it took two days and he did it for no other reason than he wanted to show it could be done. He made a replica of a can of beans out of timber because someone asked him to make something the size of a can to put under her sofa. At times he's not the most entertaining person, but what he does for the most part is still brilliant.

Have you listened to Chris Adler's new band yet? I haven't and there is too much noise here night now for me to hear it

I'm totally jealous of people who are inclined in that way. My level of expertise tops off with Legos.

I'm no where near his league but when it comes to using shit around the house to make something that no one else would want but makes my life easier (or in some cases more difficult) I'm on board with it. Dad's shed is better set up than mine but I like the idea of making something that works for me rather than buying it. I'm also miles out of his league when it comes filming what I do. I used to be a member of a 4wd forum and people were forever taking pictures and videos of their modifications where as I did the work but couldn't be bothered taking pics to prove it.
