I haven't listened yet but no matter how good I don't see myself buying it.

The interest is in how they can make a classic death metal album still sound good with a different lot of instruments. But that interest is only a one time thing, it's not something you'd rush for when you next felt like listening to a bit of Chuck.

Idk, that last bit seems to be the important part of his life

Well he only rode mountain bikes for fitness, but I get the impression he really wanted to get further into drum making...or house building but he did admit he made a few mistakes doing his own renovations that probably meant he was better off making drums.

His kids were important to him and it sounds like him and the ex-wife really tried to make their life as good as possibly through their break up. I think his oldest was only about 8 when he died so they really didn't get that much time with their dad.

Argh!! Fucking smart arse kids.

This year my eldest's teacher comes from Germany so I've been sending her to school with stupid questions like, "Do you know Sodom?", "do you know Tom Angelripper?", "do you listen to Kreator?" all those stupid things. I'm pretty sure she hasn't been asking all the questions because I haven't been called into the office! :)

But today I was listening to Sodom and talking about Ausgebombt etc, then I mentioned to kidlet that Sodom where part of the Teutonic 4 and that she ought to ask her teacher about the Teutonic 4. She asked what the Teutonic four was and I told her it was a term to rival the American Big 4 of thrash with German bands. To which she replied..."Well shouldn't it be the Teutonic vier?"

But what does Dave Mustaine think of this? :tickled:;)

I wonder if his kids are into playing?

None of it's true, none of it happened. Wait for the true account of it all!

From memory I think his youngest was too young to have anything more than a mild interest but his eldest was interested. Given Nick's father's musical career I don't think the kids will ever be far away from instruments.
