The what's going on in Thrash thread

Drainman sounds ok to me . :) I've had that same problem with my spell checker. He didn't make it up so I'm not sure what the issue is except programs are only as good as the people who make them. :yow:

With a polished dome like his he'd definitely block a drain :)
Oxford think it's a word, only in the exact context as it's written. Apparently some idiot in a car who keeps crashing can't be a collider but if you smash atoms together it's fine. Yet none of my browser dictionaries like it.

Both Blabber and Bravewords seem to have gone all soft cock...oops I mean rock...with the news today. I know they say no news is good news, but pretty much none of what both sites have today is actual metal, how sad. (atleast Metal Injection have a whole bunch of butt hurt Iced Earth's fans crying for Jon to refund them for their purchases of what some are calling Nazi music).

At least Braveword had this article which seems to be about as close to metal as we are getting.

No Hoglan, no Jnr, no Menza etc, the dude has his own band now but in a sea of nothingness at the moment this might be worth listening too.

What if it's a scientist who crashes their car?

Yeah you're right. What the hell. It's all basically chump rock.

Lol I think Jon is done.

Yeah I know there is very few shows happening and even less new releases but the shit that Blabber is offering up barely even qualifies as valuable news on a talk back radio station.

They've got to find him first! One thing is for certain the number of places he can hide has diminished because he's lost a shitload of fans.....well they say they have given up on him now.

Yeah they're just lazy. I'm sure they could find better things if they cared to try.

It is lazy. I was just having a quick look down my Facebook feed and of all the bands popular enough for Blabber to give a shit about Iron Maiden have posted a question about favourite gigs, Jnr's done an interview about his new covers shit, Doro's thrown something up, Helloween has posted some news, Ted from Death Angel is still doing live chats, Hatriot are doing live feeds. Okay some of those things might not yield riveting stories but considering how many bands a site like Blabber must follow and how little work it would be, it's pretty sad what they have offered us.

Haha, and today they offer us an article of Paul DiAnno crying poor and wanting to crowd fund a knee surgery. Must admit I did only read it for the comments and they didn't disappoint. There is always one person there saying the person in question is a messiah and deserves everything, but the number of people disagreeing does vary. Paul might have left a legacy with his Maiden stuff but the rest of the guys life he's spent crying and blaming everyone else for everything, he's worse than Ripper! I've no doubt he'll get his money but fuck me it's about time some people really learnt to stand on their own two legs....oh yeah he can't because he's got dogdy knees!!

Haha I liked the one who said he shouldn't be getting money for the surgery. He should be taking bids on the knee.

There is some gems amongst them. I do love the way that Paul can make such a plea while at the same time in multiple quotes he tells people to fuck off and leave him alone, and there is still at least one person sticking up for him and praising him.

Paul seems like a tough guy to like. I wonder who paid for his last knee operations?

Um nah they can leave those out!

If the pandemic goes on for much longer we might get a second edition of cover!!

The first comment on the Dee Snider article today calling him the Kelly Clarkson of metal was about the only good thing on Blabber today.

He's always acted the tough guy. I'm sure his antics were not the only reason he was kicked out of Maiden but it appears since he was kicked out he's had regular attempts at ostracising people. If he's not shitting on people in general he picks on groups of people and he rarely takes the soft approach. His book is hard to read from a neutral perspective, people will either love him for being such a hard prick or they will dislike how easily it is for him to belittle people, but the one thing that is hard to ignore is how every story has a 'woe is me' element. Once or twice he does blame himself for violent outburst but it's usually "I take responsibility for that but if it wasn't for X it would never have happened".

My guess is that in the UK he got his last ops on the public health system but now with something like 1 in 20 (it could be more than that now) having covid the public hospitals are full and not doing those sort of ops so if he wants it done he's paying for it in a private hospital.
