The what's going on in Thrash thread

Yeah that's a pretty good chunk f change for a whore. :). Did they say last year Ellefson was charging $25? Or $50?
Big dif. There. Last year I'd have been just as happy with a call from Jr as Sr.

We all know Dave is a whore, we jsut didn't know how far he'd go :) I didn't read about Jnr doing videos, well not sanctioned ones.
I think I'd have always preferred a call from Jnr, but I doubt I'd have paid for it.

Another one for "I don't know why I need to know that" file.
I heard this morning that Wuhan, the place now known as the home of covid (no matter how it came about) used to be known for two other things. Entertainment venues where shows of all kinds were put on and music, especially Chinese Punk music. Apparently these bands, bands I've never heard of and probably wouldn't listen too, played regular gigs and recorded regularly. But they were full on punk, the wild gigs, the jumping and thrashing on stage and the anti government messages were all part of it. Then the government started to regulate the industry, they got sick of all the songs with anti-government messages and government hate and the passed rules that all albums had to be reviewed and regulated before hitting the market. After than bands realised they no longer had a 'punk' voice and most just stopped playing.

I'm not calling Dee a liar, many things but not a liar, but how could Sponge Bob makers afford to pay $300K just for him to sing a song? Hollywood really is a money making machine if they can do that.

Oh I thought he sung it too? That's even worse.
Yeah product placement and name dropping in kids cartoons is fucking rife and should be stopped but lets face it who is going to stop Hollywood making money.

I haven't looked for it. Actually I'd forgotten that it was going to come out.
