Yes it's definitely got to that. He was once fun to laugh at because of his flip flopping on stories, but now he's just a wanker with a promise that he's got something we'll want. I don't think there is a bass player in the world that will make me want to see Megadeth if they tour.

There's a comment on the KK article on Blabber suggesting that Jnr's parts in the Anthrax doco might have been deleted. Apparently he was in the first few eps but hasn't been in any since. I haven't been watching them so I can't confirm, but if it's true, and I don't know how anyone can prove it other than David, then it confirms my thoughts about Anthrax going soft.

I should be getting that Lost Symphony album in the mail any day now. And guess what? They kept Jr on the tracks he played on

Considering the bass is all done now. They must have been Jr's right? It's too soon to come up with all new bass parts not to mention ones that fit the songs. Unless Mustaine hummed every single note.

I'm pretty sure Mustaine said the bass parts were redone, because there was comments about royalties which have gone unanswered. I wonder if Mustaine himself has redone the bass for the album and they are talking about a player too tour with.

I don't think Snr's been clear, however I took his comments to mean he had someone come in and just re-record all the bass. I really can't see in the time span that they've written Jnr out and replaced his parts with new stuff, that would have been a big job and Snr seems to have done it in weeks not months as I'd expect. Obviously just re-recording would still give Jnr some rights, but if Dave doesn't have to print his name on the album through some sort of agreement I can see him just being happy with a re-record.
I'm not sure Snr would make a good bass player either but lets not forget in Dave's mind there is....well there is no one but Dave.

Yeah that's what I think. So Jr must have gotten paid at least. But probably not very much.
This whole thing has really soured me. Not what Jr did, whatever to that. But Mustaine's actions on this.
That's going to live on with the Megadeth name as much as anything.

I reckon Jnr's still getting payment of some kind, there hasn't been enough time for Dave to delete him. But I also wouldn't put it past Dave to have his lawyers write a negotiating exit contract that states he'd be paid but without the written credit on the album. Let's face it Jnr's name is spread throughout Megadeth's history and I'm sure he'd get paid for various songs in the whole catalogue, while Dave could pay him out to remove him totally from this new album it would have to cost more than it's worth. Just re-recording with a new person removes Jnr's weekly pay not a big back payment.
And maybe Elektra, although even her name hasn't been mentioned much lately.
