It's why our border control (both external and internal) is a joke. We've got internal borders closed and the media reporting that it's so strict everyone is struggling to get passed. Yet as a truck driver I can rent the smallest of trucks, apply for a freight permit which I will get because freight is essential, and vaxed or not I can cross the border to deliver a box of matches. Totally legal, totally legit, as easy as that because no one checks what the freight is or if it could be transported in any other way. Yet there is queues of people who live in one state and work in another who can't get to work because the five hour wait to check passes makes it impossible to get to work.
