The what's going on in Thrash thread

Hahaha! No one would be!

I'm surprised anyone watches those shows to begin with. They bore the shit out of me, but my misses watches James Cordon whenever it's on. Occasionally the guest list is okay, but it's certainly not worth staying up after midnight for like we often have too.

Yeah it would suck to me as well. I shun any attention I could possibly get. I don't even like to play my guitar in front of people lol. Amazing to me that some people actually crave that kind of thing.

Yeah you're right. The millennials are slipping! Well, they're almost to old now anyway!

I burn enough energy waking up in the morning and thinking about what I want to do, bugger spending time thinking about how I can make others do what I want as well!!

Just goes to show there is really nothing original any more :)

I was never a Ford fan. In this country we had Ford and Holden and most guys kind of grew up on one side of the fence or the other even if they didn't follow car racing, or even liked cars. But that Ford was one of the few Ford's that Holden fans accepted. The panel van Max drives in the first one, which I believe is also in the Mad Max museum, is a Holden Kingswood, while the cops in the movie drove Fords so the makers played on both side of the car rivalry fence!
Lol smart tactics! Buttering both sides of the bread. ;)
A lot of people here are the same way. But it's Ford vs Chevy.

Right? Maybe that's why so many of them are on coke. Who has the energy for that kind of crap?!

Pretty much!

Chevy motors were a straight fit into Holden's here because General Motors part owned Holden for about 60 years and shared a lot of R&D. So it was kind of Ford vs Chevy here too but the badge was always the silver lion of Holden. But something weird happened in the 00's and people started changing the Holden lion for the Chevy bowtie. Now days it means nothing to anyone because GM closed Holden and Ford pretty much left Australia too.

Being on coke would explain a lot. No one could be as stupid as some of those fools if they were straight.

Damn how could you change a lion for a bowtie?! By the way I never thought of that as a bowtie, but I guess it is. Pretty funny.

I don't know for sure but I think Ford owners came up with the bowtie comment as a way to annoy Holden owners. But now with both Holden and Ford gone and no local car manufacturing they all look silly because no one wants to to be passionate about a Kia!
