I watched it in two sittings, then spent a while seeing if I could find some of the old bands on YT or the like. I'll eventually get to some of the newer bands mentioned although I have some of the newer bands albums. Bands like Hidden Intent, Envenomed and the might Desecrator have some killer albums out there.

Stoopid friggen school. We are waiting on the enrolment forms for our eldest next year and since school isn't open they've had to hand deliver them. We asked the school where they were this morning and found out they delivered them to the right house number but wrong street. I certainly hope map reading is not a subject at school.

Argh!! Dumbfuck Aussie metalheads.
I was reading an Aussie forum with a metal section and they are talking about the latest Will Carroll interview (was linked on Blabber a day or so ago). These dickheads are claiming his "seeing Satan" and being saved comments are all too co-incidental and a sales pitch due to his band name. They do seem to believe he had Covid but everything else is made up to sell records.

It's interesting to see this come up again. To be honest I think Lee ought to rest easy that Mustaine did redo the songs, they are some of the least worthy Megadeth songs released. I don't hate the album, was listening to it a few weeks ago actually, but if Mustaine redid them to have more appeal to Megadeth fans I think he failed. I don't think he made them any more "megadeth" than the originals.

Actually I was personally really glad he did. I liked the songs on the original. I got it the day it came out. but I stuck it on my shelf after a couple listens and never played it again. I couldn't stand Lee's voice on it. Hated is not to strong a word. Dave redoing it gave the album new life to me.

Yeah I was shocked. I know these guys think they are metal but they barely get away from the mainstream stuff, and I think this is the first time I've even heard them talk about Death Angel, but I was shocked to read the stupidity. I'm sure Will and others have made the connection between what he thinks he saw and the name Death Angel, in fact I think I remember him making such a connection in his first interview, but to think this is a publicity stunt is amazing. I can just see the band thinking they'll be as big as Metallica if they just got people to believe there was a connection!

I don't hate the album but I don't think it resonates with me like a Megadeth album does therefore Dave singing or not singing doesn't really sell the album to me. I bought the album not long after it came out without hearing anything off it but I knew it wasn't a Megadeth album so I think I expected something different and wasn't surprised to hear something different. It's not an album I listen to often but I'm not sure if I owned the Dave version I'd listen to it any more.

I want to know how these guys know so much about Kerry and Slayer's finances. The Lombardo thing has been done to death on both sides and people have made up their minds which side they are on, which is fine that's what we humans tend to do. But I don't remember hearing/reading that Kerry ripped off Tom's brother (and I supposed the rest of the crew) by not giving them a bonus when the band retired. Where the fuck do people get that stuff from?

I'm not even sure why the crew should get a bonus. They are doing their job, they are presumably getting paid for that job, no other industry I know of gives the employees a bonus when the CEO retires.
I don't think Kerry is that big of a dick either, he comes across as someone not to be fucked with, but I've never really understood the comments about him being money obsessed. Everyone is in their job to make money, Kerry controlling as much of the business of Slayer as he can is good business sense not greed.
