I'll tell you one thing that can't be overstated here and that is how fucking great it is to be in the car and go from full albums of Anthrax to Crisix to Dropkick Murphys, to Exodus, to Flotsam. Even when I had a 12 disc stacker in my old car it wasn't the same as this. 3 or 4 albums of each band (in release order) one after the other, no need to intercept just continuous play. By the time I've gotten to the end of the files on the USB stick I'll have forgotten what was at the start of the alphabet again.

I'm just thankful I jumped when I did. I'd been thinking about it for ages but kept putting it off, then I decided I'd buy the thing and if it had to sit there at least I had it for when I was ready. Had I waited until I was ready I wouldn't have bought it because once covid hit the price of the thing on ebay doubled overnight.

Same thing has happened with the batteries I wanted to power lights and stuff around the house. Those AGM deep cycle batteries have skyrocketed in price since covid, the one I bought in September last year for $125 is now $215. Last month I found a place with local stock they weren't price gouging on so I brought another one despite not yet having the lights I want to connect to it. Now I've got a battery sitting there on the solar panel doing nothing but keeping charge, but at least it's there for when I do get time.

Yeah, had a tooth sitting on a nerve which turned into an abscess. I'm not 100% but I've improved about 1000% from Friday night where I couldn't even function.

I was hoping to get to watch them, but finding an hour is a bit of a pain at the moment. It took me about 24 hours before I remember DKM's Streaming Out Of Fennway. In the end I got my wife to download off Youtube it so I could watch it on the TV.

It times like this weekend I find myself wondering why I didn't connect the tv to the internet...sure I used the excuse that the kids don't need to be able to access YT etc on the TV but what about the parents...wont someone please think of the parents!!

I finished watching the first one. It's mostly about them getting virus and the tour. But a lot of what they think touring will be like and the things they might do. Chuck says they might put some new songs together (I think NEW) for singles or like an EP. He talks some about what putting the album during this was like. And a few other things.

Yeah why are you being stopped by your kids! Think of yourself!

Yeah it's great! My ipod has like 30 albums on it in order. The only problem is I always stay on just one for a really long time. Or even just a few songs. But If I ever really needed them, they'd be there!

I used to connect my mp3 player to the old CD but then the wire to the back of it broke, or the circuit broke, I never found the reason. I used to have a little speaker in the car that I could plug my phone into but it was terrible to hear when driving so it was strictly only a when stopped option. This thing has GPS and the GPS only occasionally interrupts the music, but I still prefer to leave it on a screen that shows the music playing and the speed, I don't care where a satellite thinks I am

FFS! Hatriot just, (well 2 hours ago), posted three fucking messages on FB, two black ones and one with a message about black out Tuesday, disconnecting from work and connecting with community. Earlier today I saw a message from Geffen Records saying they were going to do the same thing for the whole week and not release any albums (like their albums will actually be missed). It's getting fucking stupid these protests. I don't condone any of the shit going down in America right now and I know we are only seeing the worst of it here because our media has a duty to report chaos not news. But I'm sick of high profile companies and then lesser profile bands constant taking stands on shit like this. Sure it's a free world and all that shit and everything is global and I'm a grumpy old fart. But I don't need fucking bands, shoe companies or car brands trying to tell me how I should feel because they do. I guess this is why I live in the country well the fuck away from other people who think that when they are wronged the entire world needs to fucking hear about it.

Goddamn it mother fucker I'm a grumpy old bastard and I want to tell the fucking world about how I don't want to hear what the fucking world wants to tell me!! I'm going to protest by posting absolutely nothing on FB and lets see how the fucking world handles that!! I know not posting on FB wont catch on quickly but a movement has to start somewhere!

Couldn't agree more. I'm sick of all of this. The cop is rightfully fired and charged with murder and I'm sure more charges will be brought to him and the others.
It's now like a big pissing contest between protestors, rioters, the media and the president.

It seems to be getting worse with every 'problem' now days. There can't be a problem in the world without some fucking company or noted person or band making some scene about it. It's even more annoying when said group, company, whatever ends their words with "join us" or "hit like to agree". They may as well be saying "be a lemming and follow us because we know better than you!"
