Yeah there is abasically nothing on blabber today at all.

It's been bad the last few months as they have struggled to make stories out of nothing or made new stories from 3 month old articles, but the last day or so has been really disappointing. I haven't looked at Blabber yet today but I have seen Anthrax posted some message about Rock USA Community. I have no idea what that is and the wall of text lost me half way through the first sentence about gigs being cancelled. Looks like another good day for news!

Not just that it's the same shit in every article. How many artists really need another 5 minutes of fame to tell the world which side of the fence they are on when it comes to rioting or whether they hate Trump or not. I realise this is mainly Blabbers fault and not the artist because it's Blabber that seeks out the headline from whatever source they can and then tries to make a story from it. I also realise that it's their livelihood to make news articles, but shit they could at least try.

Just in my little world, I've seen FB posts from Hatriot, Alestorm, Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer (oh yeah happy birthday KK), Halford, Manowar, Flots, Exodus and I can't remember how many more. Hatriot and Anthrax spent the last 36 hours on a black thing, but the others have all been posting. Sure they haven't been hugely interesting posts, but I'm sure some of it could be make into news headlines for Blabber.

Speaking of Hatriot, they linked to a GoFundMe for a guy named Jeff Stewart who has pneumonia, blood clots in his lungs, a blood clot in his leg, and his kidneys are failing. Apparently he was/is a big part of the SF Bay Area group and while I think I've heard of the band Annihilation nothing they've done rings any bells.
Anyone know who he is?

Yeah there's plenty out there, Blabber is just lazy and even more click hungry lately.

I realise Hatriot are part of the bay area and that makes them closer to this than me, but I was surprised I hadn't heard of the guy, then I went looking and found almost nothing else about him. Metal Archives have a link for him but it says very little.

I think at this point we just have to accept that Nugent is not actually a real person. It doesn't matter whether his views are right or wrong, one look at the guy and you have to question if he's alive. Willie Nelson looks less out of it than Nugent
