Good luck to them trying this again. I don't know the state of affairs over there but it certainly wouldn't be happening here, we've had 5 out of 7 capital cities go into some form of lock down this week.

Fucking Megadeth ---so many albums and so many hired guns. I guess if you are experienced and looking for a quick but probably temporary pay check it could be an appealing gig.

I saw that Mustaine is releasing a special cd that was only available to Megafans until now. The press release for it is funny. It just make me think Dave is really trying hard to keep interest in the band. You know. It's soo special. We're so lucky.
I wonder if he had the bass redone?

It does make me wonder if Dave is looking for a replacement for Jnr or just someone to fill a spot on stage.
Our vax rates are so bad that the new variant has got everyone scared. I understand their fear but when there is only 161 positive cases after 500,000+ test and the virus was supposedly in the community of 8 million people for 10 days it's clear why some people are hesitant about everything. Our government fucked up the vax rollout and too many people got scared of blood clots, now they are struggling to catch up. Meanwhile the states love to lockdown people and keep them in their house, 5 out of 7 capital cities doing between 3 days and 2 weeks lockdown shows that.

Yeah I tend to agree with the idea that Dave is doing anything he can to keep people interested. He's got an album people are talking down which is now 4 years in the making and he's still got to find a bass player to fill a spot so many people seemed to like. I doubt he'll ever admit sacking Jnr was a bad move but I hope he's thinking it.
Maybe Dave's redone all the bass on that one too

Yeah that pissed me off. He started talking up a new album, then after months it turned out to be a best of album, nothing new, nothing enticing. Strike that up as another Megfailure as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah maybe he will pull the in after this and either go back to focusing on Electra or do solo stuff and record everything himself.
To be honest I think you're doing shit loads better than us now. All we have is political in fighting and bitching. Now we have state premiers actually telling their people to ignore the Prime Minister's advice. It's a shit show that will have no one to blame but will only end when these elected dickheads actually start to listen to the people.
