Not sure if you've been following this all, but whistleblower site wikileaks.org has unencrypted a classified video of an unprovoked attack on civilians and Reuters journalists in Iraq from a couple of years ago.

The US government has gone through lengths to ensure that this video did not get out, but someone with balls of steel was able to secure an encrypted copy and submit it to Wikileaks. Wikileaks has spent a good deal of effort to decrypt the code, and has now succeeded, and the video has now been released.

The US government has spent the last few weeks stalking, harrassing, and generally trying to dissuade and frighten the Wikileaks team. They've not been successful.

As Joe Biden would say, this is a big fucking deal.

Here is the video and website.

Yet another proof of what mankind is capable of. Mind control the masses into doing the will of few. There is no frigging conspiracy. The Americans in the video don't think they're doing something wrong because they were raised in the spirit of American propaganda(the most effective in mass brainwashing in my opinion) and then given a measure of authority and power. The horrifying aspect is that they actually think they're doing something right for whatever reason, be it for the government, be it whatever the hell they were told at prep talk before being thrown into this shit storm which is 'the war on Iraq' ;and saying all this is like defending their position, because I just can't accept such inhumanity and lack of consideration for fellow human beings. The fact that they're acting like kids nuking targets in some rpg drives me nuts.
Then again I wonder..what is there to do? You viewed this, you live far away enough for it to not directly affect you,- right? Best I can do is feel some guilt for being part of the same race.

engaging the targets is unfortunately a regretable mistake, from that high up it did indeed look they were carrying weapons, but when they were trying to find an excuse to shoot the downed guy on the street curb and the shot up the van went above and beyond sickening. Really though in all fairness thats just fucking war this shit happens all the time and not just by us, but unlike others we shouldn't be covering up and the helicopter gunner should be arrested for murder tbh.

The Spanish Civil War was war. World War II was war. The Vietnam War was war. This isn't war, this is one sided butchering and I don't know what the fuck the US is still doing in that country. If someone can enlighten me on the subject it is welcomed. The Nazis went by the same principle: the state tells us it's ok, so we do everything we want because there is not much we can fear. No responsibility.

the Vietnam war was any better? really? and just as much if not more fucked up shit happen in that war than the Iraq War, and yes i agree we shouldn't still be over there.

No war is 'any better' I was just giving a random past example. I did not live in that period of time to see what I see today.

Oh man it's way too early in the day to be thinking about any of this. I don't want my day ruined until it's at least half over. I will watch later.

To what end?

Wasn't it something like "Objective: to get in there. Keep the masses/the general public out of the way. Slows things down. If possible make a positive turn. We also need human resources. Throw patriotic crap in there, use the term 'war', make it sound as if it's good..like 'against terrorism'. Use the media for it.
I don't live there, I'm not an expert in politics and all I say might as well be bullcrap. But it's an opinion and it doesn't have to be right or wrong.
And come on, nobody believed that shit ..even from the start.

Who the hell knows what to believe about anything anymore? Why should I believe one person I don't know who says "This is the truth" over another person I don't know who claims the other person is lying?

How can you come to your own conclusions when you can't truly believe ANY of what you read, hear, and nowadays even see with your own eyes?

The best thing you can do is gather up as much unbiased information as you possibly can and make an informed and objective opinion about it whilst realizing that nothing is absolute. Of course emotions come into play, and then everything can tumble down hill again... For example, when I see this vid, why is almost all the related content on the right anti-zionist? It's apparently impossible to be an Israeli today who loves the country but questions their government's motives from time to time... Jesus.
