There is nothing better than re-discovering classic fucken METAL albums

It didn't occur to me until lately in how much early Queensryche sounds like Judas Priest.

I actually think The Warning is heavily influenced (in an awesome way) by Maiden. Just listen to "Child of Fire".

"Far Beyond the Sun" is unbelievable. I mean, it's inhuman. Certainly one of the best instrumentals of all time.

Could not agree more. I've always felt this way and always will. :worship:

n00b. Some of us were listening to these albums back in the day on gramophones [/oldguywithstick]. :tickled:

Haha I know but around here all that gets talked about is gaybands with short hair and no beer.

Just remember who's #1 around here :loco:

Hahaha, yea that episode rules, they bash the hell out of that video. Overkill rules though, obviously.

WHAT??

"What do you mean I don't believe in God, I talk to him everyday". Heh, quite funny that because now it's true. :loco:

yeah, B+B did rag on overkill quite harshly. but meh, funny anyway.

and, yeah, i had Rust in Peace on cassette until a couple years ago. it was so worn out i had to buy it on CD. and i no longer had a cassette player.

and, yeah, "RRROOOAAARRR!!!" is a voivod album.

meh, i had a bunch of cassettes actually. rising force and all kinds of old shit. threw them away when i moved a couple years ago. woops!

WTF!!?? Sheeeeeesh. Must be weird to all you old timers how us young guns collect such things as Cassettes with a vicious fiyaaaaaaaaaah.

Rooooaaaarrrr is supposed to be a huge dissappointment. I have all Voivod except Rrrroooaaarrr . . . and nothing after The Outer Limits.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Well i mean if you like space-age Voivod then yea it'll be a dissapointment...but sense I think thrash Voivod is better then space Voivod it slaaaaaaaays.

Actually, I was questioning more the fact that you don't own it anymore, regardless of media type.

There are some albums that should just exist in your collection, whether you listen to them or not. :tickled:
