Our government is very busy interfering with 'what got in' instead of " how it got in". They jumped into islamic systems without knowing how they really work. Still, they thought they could solve the problem but instead, it got worse. They forgot or underestimate how strong and cohesive a community can be. The Islamic community in Holland is pretty tight, it's a small country and connections are easily made.
They messed with one of them and got the whole community on their ass!!
In The Hague they found a " headquarter" and evidence of terroristic attacks that were being planned. It's a wasp-nest.
Muslim families and islamic institutions were taken under fire after september, 11th. They started to interfere in islamic schools and spewed it out, through the media. They found what they were looking for (anything that feeds hysteria will do) and found it nessecary to judge and speak about it. Whole situation gets even more attention when politicians (somali woman named Ayaan Hirshi Ali) start to speak about the islam and the oppressing attitude towards women. She poked it that far, that she's under constant protection because she cannot get in public, without the thread being killed by islamic fundamentals. (not to start about politician Geert Wilders, who is also under protection). Sliiiiight detail here, that she worked with Theo van Gogh on a movie, Submission. That movie shows statements that judge about the islam, reason why Theo van Gogh got killed and Ayaan Hirshi Ali behaves like a fugitive.
Riots spread all over the country, people kill eachother, burning schools and attack mosques and not to mention the public attitude towards muslims and vise versa. It's a chainreaction and our government is so busy with the referendum/poll about the European Constitution that they even dare to breed in that same soil.
Telling people to vote yes because the constitution will cover our asses when it comes to safety and terrorism.
Because we know it so well, we know what's going on.
The shit will hit the fan if you choose against, they say.
At this moment, polls state that the majority will vote against that constitution and the whole E.U. can start all over again. IF they allow democracy to win.
The shit already hit the fan and dutchies are fed up with this government so yes, you can say Holland has a problem.
