Well I just got a call that my Focusrite Octopre LE with ADAT converter and 2 Shure SM81's arrived at the music store and I can pick them up..that makes me happy :).
:kickass:

Now I'm just a tiny bitty bit away from Digi002 and I can order that...that also makes me happy..
:hotjump:

What makes you happy?

the fact that it is friday and I'll be out of the office in about 8 hours and I can drink
while tonights rehearsal, 'cause my car is the shop so I don't have to drive :kickass:

that makes me happy right now :)

I'm supporting Hed (pe) at nottingham rock city - that shit makes me happy  - I'll now just put on my face guard in wait for the expectant barrage of shit flinging that will no doubt come my way from all you nu-metal /rap metal haters! :-)

Plus the following week I support Dry Kill LOgic - the world can be kind to you
after all.

:kickass:

Very little really these days. :(

A few of my good friends can make me happy, although I don't see 'em all too often these days... my bassist, or just a few of my ol' drinking buddies. Always a good night of laughs and silliness to be had there. A gig coming up where my bassist is playing keys for another band... should be a good chance to catch up with 'er and a few mates, have a few drinks, sing baritone renditions of Queensryche songs at moving vehicles while hanging out the window of one, etc. etc. :)

Aside from that... writing music I guess. I write in Cubase, recording as I come up with each new bit, and hearing it all come together as the different instruments are added 'n' whatnot, is just a great feeling. :)

Haha, are you kidding? That makes me happy too. Hed(PE)'s singer is a scary mother-fucker - he's like 6'8" and built like a brick-shithouse, and he stole my beer when I saw them a few years ago!

Is that the Dry Kill Logic gig that These Bloody Hands are playing? Cool band, played with them a few times up in Norwich.

Steve

Next Monday I will have a brand new Schecter C-1 Hellraiser. Due to backorders, I've been waiting going on a month now. That makes me happy.

Swathing the lead vocal track in a huge-decay verb on our outboard Klark-Technik unit and realising that it's broadcast quality even without any dynamic or EQ tampering.

I think nothing is quite like a recording that mixes itself.

Desperate Housewives, writing some music, Charlie Kaufmann's films, spring coming back, Pop Idol, Six Feet Under (not the band), sleeping in my bed...

no - the gig is in the west country (kinda local) seeing as we're from London at one of the best venues in the country - seriously I've played birmingham academy, manchetsr academy, the mean fiddler in london - and i teel you what i had near so much fun as i have had at hobbits in western super mare!

so there you go another thing that makes me happy - western super mare - i must be getting old - i'll be the one on a donkey with a hanky on my head - shit...

:p
