I hate clubs too... My mom used to go to them when she divorced my dad. I don't think she ever "got it on"...

I think dates here in Norway is something you go on
when you're quite close to a person... It's like you know
someone and then take the person out on a date... It's
the other way around in the states?

Well, most of the time you ask out someone you know well. And sometimes... Well, there are blind dates. I'd much rather know the person, then they're easier to get along with, and you know how to act around them.
