Thinner strings give me the pings

I've dropped down a few gauges in string size and (7 string 10 - 59) and now my low e string pings when palm muting. It seems to be my playing. I didn't have the problem before on heavier strings, and I've tested it on a few guitars which now, with the same guage strings have the same problem.

It sounds like a harmonic between the pick and the bridge is ringing out. It's really annoying.

Heres some clips.

Am I just paranoid? Any tips for me to get rid of it?

Any chance the strings are now hitting the pickup due to wider string vibration range?

Use heavier strings.

My 6 string in Drop C has .11-.56's on her and I still sometimes pluck that low C a bit sharp when I'm digging in.
