Ok, who else likes these guys?
I didn't want to after hearing their first single Emancipate Myself... But every song they have released since then has really grabbed me.

Someday Someday,
My Completeness
In the Summertime
When the Weather is fine

And I don't even really mind Emancipate myself anymore either. I've seen em live on the footy show/rove and ten news last night and they're pretty damn good.

Good on em :headbang:

Ah, Sprucey, I always thought you had exceptionally good taste. I like Thirsty Merc very much. A little too much I think most of the time. I've seen them live about six or seven times. Did you know Phil Stack is one of the best jass bassists in Australia? He was James Morrison's bass player before Thirsty Merc started taking up all of his time. Rai, the lead vocalist and writer is a damn fine musician. He often brings out his keyboard at gigs and just goes crazy on it. His voice is divine too. Very gifted songwriter.

I was first introduced to them by Smashed, who used to come here along time ago.

I dont like that someday someday song or that in the summertime song. :)

How about gwen steffani's new song. Its cool! (pardon the pun). Sounds very 80s. Actually all the singles off that album ive heard on the radio are awesome :headbang:

The shit is bananas

YOu guys know what actually is cool.

Kelly osbourne's new album, and I'm serious.

It's like depeche mode, only good.

Ive heard that new single of hers 'One Word', its pretty good. very 80's/electro synth pop etc

It sounds like she is doing music like she wants to now. The first album seemed like the label wanted to make an Avril Lavigne clone.

What happened to Smashed, BTW?

He makes a great roadie :)

I don't know why he doesn't post on here anymore. I should ask him. Maybe he's always just too smashed to get on here.
