this needs leads

Yeah for sure right on, thanks for the info bro! I've never used Battery but I always assumed you could trigger random multisamples within Battery itself, there's no way to just use Battery as a virtual instrument that handles all your cymbals? I've been looking to purchase a VI sampler for programming drums, was hoping there was something out there that would let me load all my multisamples for the whole kit into one plugin.

nope

think of battery 3 as a big surface to map multiple versions of one sound across

when you open multi libraries that contain more than one sound, there's only one sample being used per "box"

you're actually limited to the number of boxes, too... so even if you spread out a drum set over all the boxes, using multiple boxes to hold multiple versions of each "sound", you'd run out of space after a few cymbals

for instance, i have like a 24x24 matrix (cant remember the exact number) just for the hi hat...

so each battery instance is an instrument (snare, or hi hat, etc)
saved as an "instrument" and those instruments are loaded into kontakt to make a multi "drumset"

battery won't do it all in one shot.

theoretically you could use just kontakt to do this, but the problem is kontakt is quite complicated and messy for making the actual instruments

works well for loading each made in battery, tho

haha! Didn't see your post about the section that you want the solo to be before so i said what the hell..:)

cool track though..

there will be much more to come
im going to write an hour long album

with all elements of music (similar to how BTBAM usually does)

i just really enjoy fusing all styles of music, and doing it on an epic scale

i'm hoping i'll get to the point where im comfortable with the rhythms im making and leave it open ended for someone to come in and do leads...

i plan to travel the states and work with people im really into, if they're willing to contribute to the project.

good luck with that.

Hi, I thought to put a David Gilmourish lead tone, so it's abit dry on the gain side.

I also thought of doubling & pan the solo for more ambient, but then decided to keep it simple :)
