This should be fun. What was your first guitar?

Mine was this terrible bastard right here (ibanez GX20):

Mine was black though. When I sold it the frets were totally fucked.

Just for shits and giggles name your next guitar as well. Mine was this:

My first one was a Reno RN-3. A cheapo stratocaster copy with black body and white pickguard. The kind of guitar everyone has as a first :) My parents got me that one for birthday.

IIRC the second one was an Ibanez RG321, which was actually quite a good tool considering the price. That was also the first guitar I had to buy with my own, hard-earned money. I think I was 14 or 15 when I got that one.

Mine was a `Fighter Professional´, a cheap strat copy that after my 1st girlfriend broke up with my, I threw at my bedroom´s wall and broke it in half a dozen pieces eheheh

My 2nd was a Epiphone Les Paul 100.

i have a chiquita travel guitar thats just over a foot long. it came in a case with an amp the size of a cd case that is powered by a 9v!!! that thing was bad ass back in the day!!! its the same as the yellow guitar at the beginning of back to the future that he uses through that huge speaker.
marty mcfly FTW

My first guitar was a Harmony Flying V, brought in a Pawn Shop, The same day i brought it, i put it against the wall and my dog passed between the guitar and the wall and it falls to the floor, the headstock got broken, i just was a kid, 12 at the moment, i cried all night long, the other day my grandfather picked the guitar and fixed it , he just glued the headstock and worked again, i felt so stupid, but was happy again and could play the guitar, i still have it, it cost me $30 at that time.

I cant find any pics online and the one I had was the only one I've ever seen or heard of. It was a Series 10 by Bentley with bright transparent red stain, and gold plated hardware, white pickguard with 3 single coil pups and a 5 way toggle. I ended up selling it to the pawn shop for 35 bucks so my buddy and I could get drunk.
It was a bizarre cross between a strat and a duo sonic.
Stupid teenage impulses. That guitar played really nice.

My first one was a 200€ Epiphone Flying V (black/white) with a shitty floyd rose copy. Totally shitty guitar...but looked cool *haha*.

After a few years I smashed her to pieces onstage. Uncool action, but a good argument to buy me a Gibson SG *haha*.

Cheers

Cheap Strat copy from Sears (cheap department store, for the non-Americans that don't know it). Still use it, fitted with Roland GK-2 as my guitar synth controller. I WISH I had the choice of decent entry level guitars available today back when I started playing.

Gibson Marauder. Heaviest fucking thing I've ever played. I still have hernia pains looking at it.

My second was a Charvel San Dimas that I bought used for $300.00 and sold for $200.00. Now come to find out those things are worth a grand:cry:

Mine was a Fender Strat that my dad bought for me as an early birthday present years ago. I still have that guitar, even after alllllll of the other guitars I have bought and sold over the years, my Strat has never left. Never will. I actually play it more than my EC-1000 now.

Mine was a Yamaha CG120A.

2nd was some Ibanez, can't remember the model for the life of me right now.

Edit: while I'm at it the very 1st song I learned to play was Greensleeves.

Music Man Sabre I. It was my brothers, but he gave up guitar, and I picked it up after him. Not a bad strat, but the gloss on the neck was so heavy and sticky I eventually stripped it off.

I still have it, but it's pretty beat up. I'd like to fix it up sometime. The bridge is actually one of the most comfortable non-trem bridges I've ever felt. Probably why I got into palm muting so easily. Used to be my trick to make up riffs on it acoustic-like then transpose them to my ESP to play with distortion. It's like every time I picked it up a new riff came out.

like this, but all black:

My first was a really cheap semi-hollow body of my dad's from college. Here's the closest thing I could find:

It didn't even have a company name, make or model on it though. The blue sparkly amp that came with it was from Harmony, but that's the closest I've gotten. I'm half tempted to get that out again, get a new neck and pup's and see how it sounds.

Second was a Schecter C-1 Artist.
