I'm sure its a slightly modified version, since I doubt N-gage, Iphones, and the DS can handle 3 different physics engines either. I'd expect those games to be retooled from the ground up, well, and here's hoping the DS version isn't nearly the same as the Iphone/Ngage version.
edit: just because I'm gonna pirate the DS version out of spite and that's the most modern system I have.

A squad of clones storm into a hallway? Bring the fucking ceiling down on them.
Under heavy fire in the hangar bay? RAIN DOWN SOME FUCKING TIE FIGHTERS ON THEIR FAGGOT FACES.
Running down a platform and don't feel like fighting the enemies? Throw him half way across the map.
9/10... I didn't like the button sequence thing you had to do to destroy the AT-ST, I fucking threw everything on that level at it, including clone troopers, before I rushed it and realized it was as easy and 1..2..3... but meh, still wicked, I'll play it again.
