If Metallica re-released the first four cds, all remastered with better sound and new artwork, would you buy them?

I don't know. I'd just have to be how I felt at the moment. What Metallica really needs to do is put their demo on cd. It's actually pretty good.

Didn't they already do the "Gold disc" versions? Weren't they ridiculously overpriced? If they remastered 'em, they'd probably charge way too much to "make up for" the loss of sales due to Napster, ha ha ha!! I'd love to hear Justice where you can actually hear the bass, though.

The production on Justice was always crap.

I agree with The Wanderer - from now on with anything Metallica release, I will download just to spite them even more. Unless it's more shit like Load and Reload etc - not even that is worth the time to download for free.

Imagine spending all that time to download "Mama Said" or "Turn the Page".....

er...confusion overload....Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets 'rock'....

...Load and Reload do NOT 'rock'...neither does most of Garage Inc....S&M fell flat on its face....they are now mainstream and write music to please Kid Rock fans and MTV senior execs....

...therefore, they no longer 'rock'....phew, that's better.
