Ok, I went to Sam Ash and played one and I am now the owner of one. They didn't have but the one on display so I have to wait till it gets here but I can't wait to mic his amp up. For those who changed the tubes, is it that much of a difference? Or am I good right the box?

Fuck yeah man! My 333 sounded great out of the box, the tubes are labeled "Bugera", but I'm pretty sure they are just re-labeled tubes from someone else. I dunno about the 6260's sound out of the box.

I'm seriously interested in buying one of these being a poor student. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE in the UK that stock them. I was thinking of getting either the 333XL or the 6262, has anyone played either of 'em?

Lol...

I've had mine for a while now with substantial use and have yet to have any problems.

the one that they had on display sounded great....the head was a little over $530.00 and the cab is $250.00. so i'll be working on the cab next. the salesman at sam ash who is a guitar player said he liked it better than his 5150....( dont know if that was just his little sales pitch ) i didn't care, it sounds good.

Yeah dude I was about to say it too, Metaltastic said it first tho - don't buy the cab, LOL. It's by sheer fluke that the heads are great, I would save up a little more cash and go for either an Avatar 2x12/4x12 or lurk on eBay and craigslist for a Mesa oversized 4x12. I snagged one for $475 and it's in great condition, even had casters!

wow nice job on the Mesa cab. I really need one to go with my Mark IV.
On Bugera speak though. I've had my 6260 head for 3 months now, sounds great no explosions yet :S
But even if it does happen I'm endorsed now so I'll swap it over :P
I don't know how it works anywhere else, but here in Australia they give you a 1 year warranty and 3 months tube warranty. So it isn't too bad. If you play it on an average basis something SHOULD occur in the first year if it is gonna happen.
