Death Angel, hah, they are classic. Check out "I'm Bored."

Cranium. Heard about them my freshmen year. They absolutely rock. Check out Speed Metal Sentence and Speed Metal Satan. They have a funny CD naming theme going on.

Speaking of Afflicted and Cranium, Philip von Segebaden has a (somewhat) new project called Defender. With that project he released a great album a couple years ago entitled "They Came Over the High Pass". Purely epic in the traditional metal vein. So while not really thrash, I think it warrants a mention here.

This is a great thread, I have tons of good stuff to seek out now!

Have you heard their latest cd, Collision Course? Fucking incredible...their best album by far. Heavy as hell and extremely well written. It also features the two brothers from Sieges Even, their names escape me right now.
You are seriously missing out if you don't own this disc.
