No, Metallica DID play thrash. And Justice For All is a thrash album - you can't seriously think Harvester Of Sorrow is speed metal?

No they don't play Thrash, they don't even play Metal. They did however play Thrash and together with Slayer they even started Thrash. IMO all 80's Metallica albums were Thrash.

I forgot Voivod, early voivod = excellent thrash. After nothingface though i would say they went far beyond thrash.
