I never really thought of Metallica as thrash but here's my list

Vio-Lence-Eternal Nightmare
Megadeth-Peace sells...But Who's Buying
Metallica-Ride the Lightning/Master of puppets(hard for me to choose one over the other)
Forbidden-Forbidden Evil

I could go on and on but the bands i listed had several kick ass albums and plenty of other bands could have made my list.

Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion
Possessed - Seven Churches (if this counts, Death/Thrash right?)

If Possessed doesn't count, add in Testament - The New Order.

I'd put in Municipal Waste - The Art Of Partying but that's not Old School.

There are elements of black, death and thrash metal in it. I consider it to be mostly thrash metal though because of the riffs.
