Wow! I know that these posts are all about opinion, but no SLAYER???? I mean, not a single solitary slayer song???? Truly bizarre.

I do have Reign In Blood, but, though it's good, i've heard better. I feel Slayer is one of the most overrated thrash bands around, and though they certainly do have their share of great songs, i just can't see how they can be touted as "the greatest band ever". Especially when there are a bunch of thrash bands that are better than Slayer. But i guess if i had to choose one Slayer song it would either be "Hell Awaits" or "Jesus Saves".

I think Wicked Child, that I find Slayer to be my fave band bacuase of the wonderful riffs, atmosphere, drumming, frenetic songs, and pummeling concerts, and the fact these guys really just want to have some fucking fun, and get really fucking angry- they could care less about the technicalities and restrictions of music- they are just out to play thrash metal with no restrictions.

I cannot give you just 10 fave thrash songs- there are too many, Every song listed so far is pretty damn good

Well speed, that's all well and good, but having fun and having pummeling concerts, not caring about restrictions and being angry won't make a good thrash album for you. Well, not ALL the time, of course there are exceptions, but just those thing alone doesn't change the fact that they are overrated up the ass and, sure it's a great thing that they're having fun and being brutal live, but that won't make the music any less average. Face it, there's better thrash out there. Just my 2 cents.
