I like(d) thrash that does contain growling vocals like the cookie cutter styles of today.
Damn Arch Enemy would be killer if that chick started singing - that band made feel like 1985 all over again.

yeah i agree, arch enemy would be much better with a decent singer....wages of sin has some killer riffs on it

Blind Illusion - Top 10?

What is coming to this world?.. That record has to be one of the most overated records ever.

didn't know it was rated that good, picked it up out of the bargain bin, it's nice to see how you can go from Posessed/Blind Illusion and end up as Primus

1 overkill
2 exodus
3 anthrax
4 slayer
5 testament
6 D.R.I
7Gwar
8 Dead horse
9 Rigor Mortis(it wouldnt suprise me if no one here knows who they are)
10 PRONG :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

In no order
Anthrax
Megadeth
Slayer
Metallica
Overkill
Testament
Kreator
Mercyful Fate (don't know if they are considered thrash really but I think Don't Break the Oath is)
Exodus
Death Angel

Honourable mention to:
Coroner
Celtic Frost (Morbid tales rules)
Razor

Whoa Kreator

I had one album ,it was live ( or part of it was) I dont even remember the name of it, got it in 88 or 89( well it was a tape) I had to tape over the outer case, if my parents would have seen it I wouldnt have been able to keep it :headbang:

1) Voivod
2) Metallica (up to Black album)
3) Anthrax
4) Nuclear Assault
5) Suicidal Tendencies
6) Prong
7) Death Angel
8) Testament
9) Slayer
10) Blind Illusion

...that was really difficult. I based it on how I felt about those bands when I listened to them all the time.
