well, they only have one album, Above the Ashes.

It's a killer thrash record, and it's a shame they only released one album.

yeah they have some really amazing stuff, and to think thats only from demos! i heard they were working on an album or something similar a while back but i haven't heard anything more about it. i've seen them twice (the awesome part about living near sf) and they ruled every time! amazing band.

also listening to Overkill-E.N.D,Kreator,Sodom-The Final Sign Of Sodom,Warbringer-War Without End ( can't believe these guys are so young,but then maybe that was the key to the earlier sound,they were even gonna call themselves Onslaught only to find out about the original Onslaught,great debut!!)

A perfect example of the cult of personality. Take an extremely mediochre band, add a famous band member, and then watch the column inches roll in.

Meanwhile, only the discerning metal head actually notices that the music is insipid, uninspired, and perhaps most tellingly only barely thrash.

Good post tbh. You forgot also to add that actual thrash (and actually GOOD thrash, more specifically) is totally lost on most people and gets little to no column inches
