Three most brutal US bands -today-

I would have to say, in no particular order:

Nile
Immolation
Judas Iscariot

w/ honorable mentions to:
Vehemence (they're just too melodic to be brutal)
Morbid Angel (duh)
Dying Fetus & Kataklysm (from our brothers up north)
Cephalic Carnage (when they want to be, they might be the MOST brutal)

I can't believe that no one else here has listed Malevolent Creation as some of the most brutal, not even xeno! Vehemence is probably as well but I have not had the privilege of hearing the priceless new album.

I mentioned Vehemence (as an honorable mention), but I still maintain they're too melodic to be one of the most brutal in the USA today.

I also wasn't thinking of Cryptopsy ('cause I've never heard them).

You could also make the case for any of the following:
December
Today Is The Day
Mastodon
Dillinger Escape Plan
Burnt By The Sun
Hate Eternal
Mortician

Does it get any harder then Mortician? I heard disgorge, and I thought Mortician was harder. What is the point really? I still think Fucking Hostile is the hardest song ever! I have got in to big problems while drinking and listening to that song!!!!
