That's the exact line that sprang to my mind - well, in another language that is - when I scrolled down this otherwise pretty clever and well-balanced list.

I've never seen The Haunting, but I still have a hard time believing it is better than The Exocist.

They are very different types of horror movies, the only reason I would compare the two is because they both scare the poop out of me. The Haunting is almost wholly psychological with no fancy special effects or anything. You should watch it sometime, it's pretty nifty.

I like horror movies that touch on occult and religious topics . . . like The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, and so on. Of course I also like horror movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
