I stand by my original quote. Shitty vocals sound shitty without music.

Have you ever heard a great singer sing without any music backing them up? It sounds good.

but we're talking about death voxx here...it already sounds somewhat silly with music. Without the music, it's a grown man making frog noises.

Like I said, shitty vocals sound like shit, with or without music.

When I do my death/black vocals, it is not frog noises or squawking. If I'm screaming, I am SCREAMING ( read: loud enough to be heard over a drumset and halfstack at decent volumes ). When I'm growling, its more of a roar, with a great deal of power and projection.

It is loud. It is monstrous. It is pure aggression, in the most brutal and animalistic sense possible.
