I think it is split, first play Michael then Peter but i'm not sure. If someone knows, please answer my question

well in concert the solo was played as you said, first part mikael then peter.
so i guess it could be the same on the album, but only mike can answer this exactly.

probably in concert, so mike can go back to the main riff so he can sing over it. id assume.
