I'm about to head out to pick up a bottle of Russell's Reserve Single Barrel myself. Aside from George T. Stagg which comes out on the special occasion, I don't have any bourbon which I've been craving lately. It's just a scotch and mezcal extravaganza.

I take full responsibility for turning RC onto Epheles. However, I never check out this one. Is it as good as Souviens-Toi? Cuz that album is fuckin' righteous.

i totally have no idea tbh. i just randomly thought about "je suis autrefois" as an album from the past decade that i remember liking. i don't think i ever spent any time with "souviens-toi".

i also have no idea why its not on rym thats weird. it definitely is an album that exists, that much i know
 
otoh i think we have enough black metal to last a lifetime or two so i dont know if i wanna subject y'all to it

I might change some, but we have plenty of time.

Fleshvessel, Amber Tears, TFoS, and Locust Leaves are all short (between 24 and 45 minutes). None are black metal.

The split is an hour long but totally amazing. And all three bands are the same dude. Some black metal but not much at all

Arkheron Thodol is the most BM of them all, but even then, it aint much.

Yea but WHAT ARE WE DOING lol, if the focus is to unravel best of the decade, and youre pitching single songs and 1-2 tracks off albums riddled with meh inbetween. What are we doing? Just make a thread, and we'll press play. Hard to have someone vote on an album off one song. Shit could be a glorious set of tits distracting one from a cock down under. Im not voting for lady boy shit bruh.

Agalloch and Tryptykon are cool. May as well just throw both Trypts up in there and find two other gems and make separate threads to extol the virtues of Abbath n Electric Wizard.

We got a month, could make it two if everyone is drained from forced listening of albums. I would just err cautiously as pooching the premise will unravel the entire innards of the exercise.
