I fucking love tomatoes on their own, especially grape tomatoes. Above grape/cherry size I toss some salt on 'em. The smaller the better though, with grape being the best.

I like them in stuff to, but on their own is by far the best.

Who else is a tomatoe fan.

We used to have a greenhouse, and if I was nowhere to be found. I was either in the greenhouse inhaling grape and cherry tomatoes...or int he raspberry patch inhaling any of the 3 kinds of those we had.

My parents were always kinda surprised when i ate large tomatoes like an apple. Love em.

Salad rules btw. :kickass:

Jesus H, this thread gets more "serious" responses than my death metal thread. The demise of the RC forum continues. :loco:

Oh where art thou, all my metal scholars????????

ever read about Thomas Jefferson and his work with tomatoes? Before him, alot of people believed they were poisonous.

And Reynoldsburg OH just down the road a couple of miles is known as the birthplace of the tomato, cause some dude there named Livingston developed the forerunners of what we know today as our major strains of tomatoes.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

myth!
(according to uncle john's bathroom reader )

a lot of people think europeans believed tomatoes were poisonous for a long time but this is only true for the UK and colonies for a period in the mid-17th to 18th centuries. by the time thomas jefferson was in the white house everyone in america had long known what's up.

however, he liked to serve tomatoes to guests and it's surmised he introduced a lot of people to tomatoes who had never tasted them before.
