Tonight's Music isn't THAT good.

Why do people rave about it as if it's the best song on LFDGD? It isn't, methinks. There's about 7 songs on that album which are superior.

Flame on.

@coronerox: We must bury you is the song I like the least on LFDGD. You seem to have good tastes though, if you like CORONER

@guardian: I agree with you when you say that there are greater songs on LFDGD than Tonight's Music (I really like this song nevertheless), like Teargas, Clean Today or Don't Tell A Soul. LFDGD is definitely not my fav Katatonia album...

First of, its not my favourite song on the album, and secondly its always a stupid question saying why people like one thing more than another, its like saying why do people rave on about (insert chart topping metal band names here) when theres Katatonia who are much better but not doing as well...

(Future Of Speech rules!)

Really though, who raves on about it? I hear people raving on more about Sulfur and March 4th than TM.

Tonight's Music isn't my favourite song on there either. I prefer songs like Clean Today and Future of Speech.

Coronerox finally joined the board. :)

Hmmm, indeed, all of the songs that all of you users have mentioned are indeed good. And, of course, when it comes to gauging quality and validity of music, one enters a completely subjective arena. That being said, I'll put my own two cents in here. In my own humble and unnecessary opinion, not only is LFDGD my favorite Katatonia album, it is also my favorite album of all time(with Paradise Lost's "Draconian Times" following at a close second). And what's more, I feel the best songs on the album are not only Tonight's music(face it people, it fucking rules), but also the criminally underrated Chrome and I Transpire. Hell what am I saying, the whole album is flawless from beginning to end. It is a warm sojourn through a land of impenetrable coldness.

Tonight's Music drags a bit too much so I don't listen to it that much...Clean Today and The Future Of Speech along with Sulfur probably stand out the most, but all of them rule.

Oh wait...the song that drags too much is I Transpire :p Tonight's Music fucking rules lol. Ok so it's one of the best, but still not above others in any way.

Did you take drugs?

Hey Light, what is your basis for your rather blunt response to my opinion? Drugs or not, I feel what I said may be subjective and of course open for argument, and believe me, I love a good argument. So, why not give me a list of reasons why you disagree with my refined opinion? I'll be waiting.......
