Tons of unwanted email... how do i make it stop?

I dont subscribe to any threads, but anything i've read and if someone posts in it, i get an email saying that someone has...

How do I make it stop?

User CP -> Edit Options -> Default Thread Subscription Mode
Choose "Do not subscribe"
Save changes

ha, thanks, i had it on "No email notification" yet i was still getting them... shitty, ok.
