Where is Ihsahn? ;)

That's what I was thinking the whole time I was looking through that list.

Oh well, at least it includes some non-mainstream metal bands, unlike other lists I've seen.

Good point Iverson, you can't have one without the other, both are excellent guitarists.

Look, at the end of the day, like every 100 list, some shouldn't be there whilst others are left out, you can't win either way.

What a piece of shit list. If it's based on technical skill, Shawn Lane not being #1 is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. No Steve Lukather, no Eric Johnson, no Jimmy Herring, no Brett Garsed, no Greg Koch, no ALLAN HOLDSWORTH OR JOHN MCLAUGHLIN HAHAHAHA no Metheny, no Joe Pass, no Pat Martino, no Wes Montgomery, oh my god what a shitty list. Also, Andy Timmons should be in the top 10. He smokes almost all of those players, including Gilbert, Vai, Petrucci, and anyone that is one of their clones. Same with Macalpine. Actually the only person that should be higher than Timmons on the list is Steve Morse.

Pfff John Petrucci deserves a WAY higher place than #12. He's fucking brilliant!
But well, good to see Opeth getting *some* recognition. (And indeed, Peter should be out there too)

Everyone above Petrucci is better technically than him, save Randy Rhoads. Randy shouldn't be near those guys.

Fuck I hate those lists. Slash is on it, fuck! At least they have some credible players at the top, like Bumblefoot, Vai and Petrucci. I didn't spot Guthri on that shitty list, and Yngwie should be higher than he is!

Point taken.
