I've made no secret of my love for Redemption. That said, I'm at a loss to explain why so many people who once found them dull, love the new disc. If there's a discernible difference, stylistically, between this disc and the previous two, I don't hear it.

I totally agree with you, Zod. If you liked the previous discs, you should like this one even more. If you didn't like them, you probably won't like this one, either.

While I agree with most that Snowfall is their best disc, I think it's simply a continued evolution of their style...they basically took what they did on the previous disc and made it 10-20% better in every respect (that's not to say the songs sound the same....just the style). Better songwriting, vocals sound better, catchier melodies, better lyrics, the heavy parts are heavier, etc. Pretty impressive, IMHO, since I thought the previous disc was amazing.
