Top 5 Non-Metal Bands

who are your top 5 non-metal bands? For all intensive purposes, if they were EVER at one time considered metal, they cannot be included (i.e anathema, paradise lost etc.), I think it'd be more interesting if we choose the bands that you dont even have think about if they are "metal". I notice that metalheads often listen to the same non-metal bands aswell example my number 1:

1. Depeche Mode
2. A Perfect Circle (pushing it)
3. Smashing Pumpkins
4. Zero 7 (im a sucker for chill out electronica)
5. Coldplay
