Another favorite artist of mine that is not metal is Tupac--I think he was the best rapper that ever lived..Just a huge fan of his--is a pity that he died while he was in his prime 8-//

I'm not a much of a metal fan (don't ask me how I got here-lol) but I would say Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Queen, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, Def Leppard, Alice In Chains, Aerosmith and Van Halen for starters. I apologize in advance if some consider some of those metal but really at least in this day and age they aren't (except for AIC who I only listed because usually they are considered grunge).
