We've all said he's 15, as well as he, like a dozen times in the past 4 months. If that slipped by you, you're pretty dense.
Dense, or just don't care about random personal details about shit posters on a forum?

That EP has REALLY evil and nekkro sounding production. Ever read the liner notes though? Guess who produced it?

Timo Tolkki of Stratovarius

Not a joke

Yeah, I was pretty ":zombie:" when I read that.

Also, The Karelian Isthmus is far from the best Death Metal album ever. Not even the best Finnish Death Metal album. And Slayer is better. And Drunkard and Hypnosia shouldn't be on this list.

Possessed, Grave, Carcass, and Entombed are not as good as Morbid Angel.

All the bands are equally hyped and morbid angel is less disapointing even though all these bands have some great material. Entombed and Grave have so much crappy albums I forgot the names.

Possessed 'seven churches' is the only good thing possessed did. Someone should feel disapointed by the band possessed over morbid angel who released 5 solid death metal albums straight. Slayers 80's efforts have an edge of possessed.

The chances of the new Morbid Angel being great is 50/50 where none of those bands have been worth a damn a decade. Grave is actually back on course but who knows.

Your entire picking morbid angel out over these bands as being a lacking expirience is stupid. They deserve hype over any of these bands and make better death metal music. end

Amorphis 'the karalian isthmus' is not better than the first two morbid angel cds. I'm an amorphis fanboy too.

Slumber of Sullen Eyes is not better than the first two morbid angel cds nor is left hand path or like an everflowing stream into the grave where no life dwells or any suffocation immolation or incantation.

I'm failing to find death metal albums better and i've heard a lot of it.

that list is truely fukked up!

Re: Timo, well I'll be a monkeys uncle, I never thought much about Strat (infact never!) and even the liner notes werent drumming the point home - ahh well, just go to show you can't judge a book...

I have not checked out vio-lence for the simple fact that rob from machine head played guitar in the band. Why would I want to hear his shitty guitar playing. The guy is a whigger too. I probably should not be generalizing a band because of a band member but oh well. It's probably not the end of all thrash and that important.

Vio-lence is really nothing like Machine Head, despite sharing a member.

Ok I've looked at the list sober and read Brynes comments as to the how & whys as to listing order. The list is actually decent for a group of people who have different tastes.

Even if one person made the list, there'd be somebody out there who had a different opinion.

eg.a persons age can influence what albums people like more - if you werent listening to metal in the 80's, your first album experience with a band can sometimes make you feel like its the best album ever, leaving the rest pale in comparison.

Anyway, all that aside, it will be interesting seeing the next genre list.
